about
Ryan Enschede Studio is an architectural practice based in Brooklyn, NY working to create poetry from sustainable architectural solutions adapted to New York City’s unique climate and built conditions.
I have technical expertise in Passive House construction, underpinned by an understanding of climate and classical passive design, layered with knowledge of contemporary renewable energy, daylighting, etc. I believe these technics can be shaped into a language of beauty and pleasure which can facilitate a returned intimacy with ‘nature’ in our experience of the built environment.
I provide professionally-delivered architectural services to clients seeking intelligent innovation and high-quality outcomes, who simultaneously demand aesthetic and technical excellence. Although I bring a clear viewpoint to any project, I most enjoy working collaboratively from within my client’s needs and together make art.
